Once, when I found myself with a bit of unexpected free time, I decided to spend it looking for the scientific basis behind dietary advice. I restricted myself to reputable scientific sources only (e.g. peer-reviewed journals) and provided a source for every claim (preferably an open-access journal, so that readers could check my sources without needing a journal subscription).

I managed to complete my investigations into fats and proteins, but had only just started looking into carbohydrates when I ran out of time and had to return to my real job.
